GRE General Test Registration Fee
The GRE General Test registration fee in India is INR 22,550. This fee covers the cost of taking the test at an authorized Prometric test center or at home via the ETS online testing platform.

GRE Subject Test Fee

Rescheduling within 4 days of the test essentially means paying the full registration fee again. It is strongly advised to reschedule well in advance to avoid unnecessary extra costs.

Cancellation Fee for GRE Exam
ETS allows candidates to cancel their GRE registration, but the refund policy varies depending on when the cancellation is initiated.
GRE General Test & Subject Test:
- More than 4 days before the test: Partial refund of INR 13,620 credited back to the candidate.
- Within 4 days of the test date: No refund. The entire fee is forfeited.
- On or after the test day: No refund under any circumstances.
Score Cancellation & Reinstatement:
- If you cancel your scores on test day, reinstatement of cancelled scores is possible within 60 days.
- Score Reinstatement Fee: INR 2,920.
- Cancelled scores cannot be reinstated after the 60-day window.
Score Reporting Charges for GRE
ETS provides four free score reports at the time of registration. These must be selected on test day before viewing your scores. Beyond the free reports, additional score reports are charged separately.

Online Payment:

Additional GRE-Related Charges

Hand-scoring is available for the Analytical Writing section only. If you believe your essay was not scored correctly, you can request a manual review for INR 4,170. This fee is refunded if your score changes.
