The Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE) is an official document issued by Australian educational institutions once an international student has accepted an offer and paid the initial tuition deposit.
It contains key information like the course name, duration, start date, and institution details. The CoE is a mandatory requirement for applying for an Australian student visa (subclass 500).
It proves that the student is genuinely enrolled in a CRICOS-registered course and allows the Australian immigration department to assess visa eligibility. Without a CoE, a student visa application cannot proceed.
