GRE - Registration

Online registration is the fastest and most commonly used method for booking the GRE exam. The complete registration process usually takes 15–20 minutes if all required information and documents are ready.

1. Create an ETS Account

Visit the official ETS website and create a GRE account using your name, email address, date of birth, and personal details. Ensure that your information matches your identification document exactly.

2. Verify Your Profile Information

Complete your profile by adding your contact details, country, preferred communication settings, and educational background.

3. Select the GRE Test

Choose the GRE General Test or GRE Subject Test, depending on the admission requirements of your target institution.

4. Choose Test Center or At-Home Option

Select whether you want to take the test at an authorized test center or from home through the GRE at Home option where available.

5. Select Test Date and Location

Browse available dates and nearby test centers. Popular dates can fill quickly, so early booking is recommended.

6. Review Personal Details

Verify your name, identification details, selected test date, and testing location before proceeding to payment.

7. Add Score Recipients (Optional)

You may select institutions to receive your scores. This can save time during the application process.

8. Pay the Registration Fee

Complete the payment using an accepted payment method. Registration is confirmed only after successful payment.

9. Receive Confirmation

After payment, ETS sends a confirmation email containing your appointment details and registration information.
