GMAT Exam Pattern

The GMAT Focus exam pattern consist of quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, and data insights. The exam duration is 2 hours and 15 minutes (135 minutes), excluding breaks.

Verbal Reasoning

The verbal reasoning section evaluates the reading and text comprehension

23 Questions – 45 minutes

  • Verbal Reasoning assess the test takers’ skills of logical reasoning and the ability to make decisions.
  • Test takers are required to solve 23 questions in 45 minutes.
  • Questions are based on reading comprehension scenarios.

Quantitative Reasoning

The quant section evaluates your ability to solve foundational mathematics problems

21 questions – 45 Minutes

  • Assess the candidates’ problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills
  • Test takers are required to solve 21 questions in 45 minutes
  • Questions are based on foundational mathematics knowledge
  • Topics include algebra and basic arithmetic
