Late Registration Fee for TOEFL Exam

The standard TOEFL registration window closes several days before your chosen test date. If you miss this deadline, you can still register during the late registration period by paying an additional late registration fee.

Payment Modes for TOEFL Exam Fees

Online Payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: You can pay your TOEFL fees using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or JCB cards.
  • PayPal: ETS also accepts PayPal as a secure online payment method.

  • Net Banking / NEFT: In some cases, bank transfers and NEFT options may be available for Indian candidates.

Offline Payment:

Cancellation Fee for TOEFL Exam

Sometimes, unexpected situations may force you to cancel your TOEFL test registration. ETS has a defined cancellation and refund policy based on when you cancel relative to the test date.

  • More than 4 days before the test: Partial refund of USD 80 (the remaining fee is forfeited).
  • Within 4 days of the test date: No refund — full fee is forfeited.

  • On or after the test day: No refund under any circumstances.
