  3. University’s Application Portal: Depending on the university, students can apply for bachelor’s programs through the university’s common application portal.

Academic Requirements

The basic academic requirement for Indian students to get admission into undergraduate programs is to complete their 10+2 level of school education in any government-recognised institute. Following are some features of academic requirements for Indian students:

Standardised Entrance/Subject Expertise Test

Indian students are required to appear in the following type of entrance or subject expertise test, which might vary depending on the aspiring course:

  1. ACT: American College Test or ACT is conducted by USA community colleges to evaluate the student’s general educational knowledge and aptitude for granting them admission into a particular bachelor’s program. It is also conducted to check the eligibility criteria for scholarships.

GMAT Focus

CAT

Some USA universities do not require students to submit separate English language proficiency test scores to grant them admission into master’s programs if they have completed their undergraduate studies in English-speaking institutions.
